Peerless introduces its latest paperboard plate and tray forming machine line, the M40T. Machine line includes vertical lift roll stand, forming machine and counter-stacker. Precision heavy-duty mechanical toggle systems and four-pin die sets insure accurate and repeatable cut/score and forming performance. Innovative servo motor- roller screw drive units provide quiet, dependable power for continuous 24 hour operation. P.C. controls support operator interface, temperature, feed, and cut- score/forming motion control. Production programs are easily stored and retrieved.
The M40T roll width capability is 38” (965mm), offering and additional 2.5” (63.5mm) capacity over the previously introduced M37T machine line. -
Peerless introduces its newest roll stand offering, the 55” (1.4M) Shaftless Model. This new model offers converters a shaftless option capable of handling rolls up to 55” (1.4 M) wide, 72” (1.8 M) in diameter, and 5,000 lbs (2,268 KG). The roll stand is easy to operate and does not require a pit in the floor. It includes a manually adjustable pneumatic brake for proper roll tension control. Push buttons control electric motor driven screws that shift frames individually for paper roll width adjustment or simultaneously to align the paper roll and machine feed system. Paper rolls must be lifted onto the roll stand. The roll stand does not offer a floor pick up option.
